Whitby and the Goths

I am ridiculously excited.
Rainbow are off to Whitby shortly, to shoot the wedding, tomorrow, of the lovely Julia (Jools) and her soon to be , husband, Darren.
I,ve even had a blue/black mohican for the weekend's festivities .( i know, i'm having another mid life crisis).
New black clothes have been bought(well, it has too be done), and black nail varnish has been snaffled from my daughter.
Looking forward to a weekend of huge numbers of photographs, and a corking wedding.
Pictures up later, no doubt.

Keep it secure

As you can see, Tina has been busy "sexing up" laptop safes for a local company.
Their website bod asked for the images to make the safes "sexy".
Personaly, i found that highly amusing.
But Tina has done a good job, and the client is happy.
As to wether or not theyre sexy, well i will let you decide.

The lovely Helen

Yes,for those more observant of you. We shot Helen a few weeks ago for the Shades Hair shoot.
Helen was so impressed with the results that she decided to do her own portfolio shoot with us.
A few hours of costume changes, hair tweeking , and a lot of laughs.
Helen is a very nice lady, and an awful lot of fun.Very open to suggestions, and should do well with her modeling.
The big drill in the last shot is mine, just in case you wondered.

We all had a fun day with Helen and Boyfriend, when she came for her model portfolio shoot

Animals and polystyrene.

Today Tina has been out and about at a farm park

We now have a lot of shots of various animals for a new project in the offing.
Tina is doing something for White post Farm in the summer, but apparently its under construction at the moment.
So you will have to wait foor further news on that front.

Meanwhile , after a late start, and a couple of hours editing shoots from last weeks RACPA gig, while listening to Mansfield Radio, i finaly got off my bum.
I have been down to the studio, putting insulation sheets into the shop ceiling, to keep our visitors warm and toasty.
I am now covered in bits of polystyrene, and about to go in the shower.

Rock Against Child Pornography and Abuse

I was asked to shoot some pictures for RACPA, last weekend at thier event in Mansfields,, The Mill, pub.

Four great bands to bring people in to the venue. All money made going to a childrens charity.

Realy good they were too.

The lovely people from RACPA are trying to highlight the problems of child pornography on the Net, and how poorly it is currently being dealt with.

How the abused are often treated like second class citizens, with insufficient support, while abusers/pornographers that are prosecuted often receive pitifully short sentences.
and get all the support they rquire, at the taxpayers expense.
Its a taboo subject to a lot of people, but needs to be out there in the public domian, to help the situation as it currently is.
All RACPA staff are vlenteers, and it is a non profit organisation.

Talking to Beth and Carmen, the organisers, was a real eye opener.

Rainbow will continue to offer its support to RACPA in future , in any way possible

Please give them a look.

Obviously made a good impression

Jodie from Gents and Players, who we've done some commercial work for recently, has been so chuffed with Tina's work, and got on so well with us, she's bringing the family down for a portrait shoot on Sunday.

Not only that, but ive been asked about shooting a charity gig .
woohoo.
Further details on that, as it happens.
