A few band shots

Bands, Bands and more Bands.

Apologies for our lack of blog activity.

We've been a little busy.

The studio is doing well. with families pets, and everything else being shot recently.

Meanwhile, i've been upto my neck in gig editing.

A couple of weeks ago, i was at Rock'it 09 in Rugby as official event photographer.

Heavens basement, Eureka machines, Jukebox Junkies and Audio narcotix were on the bill.

It was an incredible night, and a few more friends were made.

Dont tell anyone, but Eureka Machines were better than the headline band, Heavens Basement.

A really tight band,Eureka Machines, gave a real show. Something that a lot of bands, sadly, dont do.

Last weekend saw me shooting old mates Gods to fall at the Frog and Wardrobe in Worksop.

Along with V-twin and Stonerun, neither of whom i had seen before..

Ginger and the rest of GTF were hyperactive and loud as usual.go see em when you can.

Stonerun , a band from Sheffield are a band who should go far.

They held the audience by the short and curlies, and look like a real ROCK band should.

Amazing performance. Another must see band for lovers of ROCK.
Tonite, i am off to Nottingham to shot another band Fargo.
you can check out my band photos on my myspace page too.

thanks for checking up on us.
Mark.

Back from Whitby.

What a great weekend it was.
cracking b&b, the fox and hounds at ailsthorpe.
Highly recommended.
The wedding went well, and i must say, Darren and Julia are the nicest people, who made our job much easier, by being so friendly and welcoming.
They did manage to turn up in a hurse too.
The look on Julia's mums face was hilarious. (she hadnt been told).
The reception at the Resolution was also great fun.
You can beat 20 odd Goths with alcohol.
I didnt try the specially made cocktail named after Darren, called Bloodlust.
Tina says it burns the hair on the back of your neck on the way down.
Feeding time was nice for me. i love gateau. Thanks Jools.
Followed by a drive upto the Abbey for some scary photographs.
I'm sure Tina will post some shortly.
Lets just say they involve vampires and gravestones.
You will have to wait and see.

Saturday evening was spent at the Spa pavilion, with a couple of the wedding guests.
Some incredible shows were put on by the bands, and we left at way passed 1 AM.
Slept like a large tree ,and had a hearty breakfast before setting of in typical Yorkshire , horizontal rain.
The drive back was horrendous, but we had such a good weekend, that i doubt we will remember the return journey for long.
Whitby Goth Weekend is definitely recommended.
